Find your future with us._ BAA Finance is seeking an **Entry Level Accountant** to be part of our growing Financial Accounting team. This is a **Full Time; Permanent** role based 100% onsite in Port Melbourne reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager. The Financial Accounting team at BAA manages our P&L and Balance Sheet including reconciliations, SAP GL, cash, offshore AP & AR teams, Monthly / Quarterly / Annual and Statutory Reporting. In addition, we liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally and collaborate with other Boeing teams to meet FBT, GST and Corporate Tax requirements. **Position Responsibilities:** + Ensure Accounts Payable processes work smoothly + Support internal BAA customers with AP matters + Prepare Monthly & Quarterly Reports & Schedules + Undertake GL reconciliations + Complete SOX requirements + Support reporting requirements for FBT, Tax and month-end + Problem solving and resolution of day-to-day accounting issues + Review Financial compliance and adherence to GAAP and Boeing Company Policies **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):** + Comfortable in working and interacting in a team environment, willingness to learn & explore and put your problem-solving skills to the test in a hands-on environment + Be confident about what you can bring to the team + Great verbal and written communication skills + This is an Entry level role so looking for 0 - 2 years experience within a similar role + Applicants must have unrestricted full-time working rights in Australia **Preferred Qualifications (Preferred skills / Experience):** + Degree qualified or to be completed by the end of 2026 (job commencement date is mid 2026 with business support to take required time off for study/exams) + Be committed to undertaking CA / CPA **Additional Information** This is a non-Enterprise Agreement IJC 9AHCI1 position and remuneration will be commensurate with skills and experience.
